Technical Overview

iHOT is designed for use on most standard electric storage hot water systems with elements up to a MAXIMUM of 3600w.

The system can take a series of solar panel installation up to 350VDC.

No need to change the element or change the thermostat, this works with all the standard equipment.

With an MPPT Efficiency of up to 99%, this is one of the most efficient hot water converters on the market.

An average household needs 20 litres of hot water per day for dishwashing, plus up to 50 litres per person per day for showering. This means a 4 person household will use roughly 220 litres per day of hot water.

Allowing 1 kWh for every 30 litres of hot water used this house would need approximately 7.5 kWhrs, plus the heat losses from the tank and plumbing.
